Single Day Adventure Riders

Urban Trails, Big Adventure

Spend an action-packed day mountain biking through one of the most unique urban trail systems in the country—the James River Park System in Richmond, Virginia. This single-day Adventure Riders camp is designed for confident young riders who are ready to take their skills beyond the basics and experience real trail riding in a supportive, coached environment.

Campers will ride a variety of trails featuring climbs, descents, rocks, roots, and flowy singletrack while learning essential mountain biking skills such as body position, braking, shifting, cornering, and trail awareness. Our experienced instructors focus on building confidence, control, and safe decision-making while encouraging campers to challenge themselves at their own pace.

The James River provides the perfect backdrop for adventure, with river views, wooded trails, and natural obstacles that make every ride exciting. When the riding is done, campers will enjoy time cooling off by the river and connecting with fellow riders who share a love for bikes and the outdoors.

This one-day camp is ideal for riders who already have some off-pavement experience and want a taste of what a full week of Adventure Riders is all about. Expect a full day of riding, skill-building, and outdoor fun—Richmond-style.
