Our fleet of sit-on-top kayaks offer the perfect vehicle for adventure and excitement on Virginia’s many different types of waters. They are easy to paddle, extremely safe, and provide the opportunity for campers to get closer to the fish and wildlife!
This program is perfect for campers who have previously been to our fishing camps and are looking for a new experience, as well as, those who have never been with us before, but love being outside and exploring!
Our staff will instruct campers on safety, paddling, and general maneuvering of a sit-on-top kayak. This camp focuses on building campers confidence on the water both as paddlers and anglers. Throughout the week campers will start by exploring local ponds and reservoirs and progress to navigating rivers such as the Rappahannock and Shenandoah by kayak.
We fish a different body of water almost every day which allows us to target various species of fish including large and smallmouth bass, sunfish, crappie, and the occasional catfish.
Kayaks, paddles, life vests, and fishing gear are provided by Virginia Outside.
There are no current sessions!
